Beginner Hmong: A Simple and Direct Language Learning App
Beginner Hmong is an Android app developed by shotgun.experiments that aims to introduce beginners and enthusiasts to the Hmong language. The app follows the "a word a day" concept, providing up to 12 words of the user's choice each day. The app tests the user's knowledge of the words they have learned repeatedly, decreasing the frequency as they become more familiar with the word. If the user answers a word incorrectly, the app will adjust and provide more practice on that word.
With over 500 common Hmong words and phrases available, users can pace themselves and learn at their own speed. After just a few weeks, users will have a fundamental understanding of the Hmong vocabulary. The app is free to use and is an excellent introduction to the language for those who are just starting their language-learning journey.
